• Minimum  2.75 GPA – (3.0 GPA Preferred)

• African American Male Senior planning to attend a college, university or technical college

• Attending Mayo High School Math, Science and Technology

• Resident of Darlington County

• Two (2) letters of recommendation that includes contact information for references(Current/Former Teacher and Community Member)

• Personal Essay outlining your career and personal goals to include any special challenges you have endured to achieve your current success (No more than 500 words, typed, double spaced – Times New Roman, 12 pt Font)

• Unofficial High School transcript PDF or JPEG File

• Letter of acceptance from college, university or technical college

• Involvement in extra-curricular or community activities

Scholarship Photo Requirements:

• Must be headshot (taken from the shoulders up) and professional in style and content.

•  Must be a jpeg file. 

• Photo submitted must be of high-quality, full color. 

•  Submitted photo must not contain any individuals except for the scholarship applicant.
